Company guide · India · 2026
Amazon's Leadership Principles run their entire hiring loop, including resume screens. Every bullet on your resume should implicitly map to one of them (Ownership, Deliver Results, Dive Deep, Customer Obsession). Metrics are non-negotiable.
Modern Template
Clean, bold header — ATS friendly
What actually works
Every bullet must have a metric. No exceptions. 'Improved performance' gets skipped; '40% latency reduction' gets read.
Frame bullets as STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) — even in one-line form.
Show Ownership: 'I built' not 'we built'. Amazon values individual accountability.
Include one bullet that shows Dive Deep — a debugging or root-cause story.
Customer-facing outcomes hit harder than internal wins: 'reduced customer wait time by 30%' > 'refactored code'.
